ADOPT A COT

We are immensely pleased that our company can help the most vulnerable and innocent beings—our children. Especially those whose health has failed them… 🙁 We have become part of another excellent project of the Children’s Cardiac Center Foundation: ADOPT A COT.

Each cot at the Children’s Cardiac Center is used by several children with heart conditions over the course of a year. These are children born with a congenital heart defect as well as those with an acquired heart condition. Every single one of them needs the help of doctors, nurses, and the Foundation.

The Foundation has therefore prepared a new project, “Adopt a Cot,” through which you can support a specific cot in the departments of the Children’s Cardiac Center with a monthly financial contribution. There are 25 cots in total, and each one deserves its own “adoptive guardian angel.”

A company or a private individual can support a specific cot for one year and may extend their “adoption” each year. Each cot is distinguished by animal motifs so that support is not confused with other cots.

With the funds from the “adoption,” the Foundation purchases everything little patients need—for example, life-saving equipment, hospital environment furnishings, various children’s support events (St. Nicholas Day, Christmas, Children’s Day), and the funding of toys, aids, or education provided by special-needs teachers.

Our company also supports one such cot. We’re happy that our support can contribute to greater comfort for children during their challenging hospital stay.
