What exactly does “robotic cleaning by Slovclean” mean?
It’s an extension of our service — the robot performs routine passes, and people handle everything else (detail, restrooms, windows). It’s not a team replacement but a practical add-on that boosts consistency.
How often can the robots run, and where are they already deployed?
In practice they run several times a day: for example, in the children’s hospital 3–4× a day and at Zara 2–3× a day; in shopping centers they also operate during the day and attract visitors’ attention.
Won’t they disturb operations or bump into people and obstacles?
They have LiDAR/cameras and advanced obstacle avoidance; they can navigate safely even in more complex spaces and low light. On contact, they stop immediately.
How much do they reduce costs and what is the payback?
For smaller spaces (Phantas) the ROI can be ~12 months vs. manual mopping / ~18 months vs. a small walk-behind, according to the manufacturer; exact figures are always determined after a site visit.
What spaces are they suitable for and what performance can they handle?
The more compact model (TASKI Phantas) is designed for smaller/complex spaces and can handle practically up to ~1000 m² per tank/charge; larger robots are being tested on large areas (Nivy Station, parking garages).
What can the robot do — does it only wash the floor?
Multifunctional: washes and dries, sweeps, vacuums, and dry mops; smoothly transitions between hard surfaces and carpets.
What about safety and communication with people?
In addition to sensors and a “touch shield” for safe stopping, the robot can politely communicate (“excuse me”) and has a Slovak voice version ready.
Service and coverage: where can you maintain the robots?
We can service large robots across Slovakia; for smaller models, to ensure fast response, service is concentrated mainly in Bratislava and the surrounding area.
How much human attention do they need?
Smaller robots require quicker responses in case of issues; larger ones can fill/empty themselves and usually just need a daily rinse. There are always manual tasks outside the robotic routine.
How does deployment work with us (steps)?
Collect inputs → site visit and mapping → proposal of cleaning windows and routes → short pilot → evaluation (frequency, quality, costs) → full operation.
Does it also have a marketing/PR effect?
Yes — it looks modern and can be branded; in shopping centers and elsewhere people often take photos of it. Advertising space on the robot is also possible.
